Fourth Grade
The Still Life
The fourth graders studied and drew still lives for a three week unit on value and careful looking. They turned out great with careful consideration of the biggest object and how their point of view altered the drawing. Many of these still life drawings were there first ones so needless to say, Ms. Beaird is very proud of their hard work!

Presenting: Shape Mobiles
The fourth grade students have been working diligently on mobiles. We looked at Alexander Calder for inspiration. We also talked about organic and geometric shapes when we planned for an interesting, dynamic mobile. To make the mobile we began with cutting shapes out of cereal boxes, and then painted them.
